Finding Balance on Thanksgiving

On a day when most of us will stack our plates high and share holiday meals with friends, family, and loved ones, it’s important to remember that healthy nutrition is all about balance.

You might think that your coaches are sifting through a boring plate of rice, chicken, and broccoli while cooking up the next workout chock full of burpees–but we aren’t. In fact, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

We’re exercising today, but exercising our right to enjoy balance. For us that means a pro-sized plate of turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes with zero guilt, remorse, or shame. A meal enjoyed in joy is part of healthy living.

Today is about giving thanks, enjoying flavors, and wearing sweatpants after a big meal. It’s about filling your plate with the best options for YOU. It’s about enjoyment, smiles, and valuing those around you at the dinner table.

Today isn’t a time to be hard on yourself, worry about water weight, or even focus on adhering to a nutrition plan. There’s plenty of time for healthy meals tomorrow, and the next day, and the next.

We hope that you can find joy with loved ones today and relax with a day off from your busy lives while reflecting on the past year, your accomplishments, and your growth both in the gym and away from it. We realize we only make up 1/24th of your daily life, but we are truly grateful to be able to impact you and provide what we hope is the best hour of your day.
